Disclosures, sharing, work with me!

Affiliate links: I am an affiliate for several services that I use myself. That means that when I tell you about a product I have used and link to where you can buy it I get a little payment from them if you click that link and buy a product. This does not change the purchase price for you. These other sites do this to thank us for sending you there and recommending the item. Since I live in the woods, I have no mall & I buy a lot of stuff online so I often mention products that I use and like. Whenever I use an affiliate link I will note that on the post before the first link and again at the bottom.

Affiliate disclosure: All of my sites are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

Sharing posts:
I appreciate those who share my posts! If you want to share my posts on your blog, website or other page I do allow this with the following concessions:
You may copy and reprint up to 200 words of each post with a link back to the original post prominently displayed. (not a tiny little author link, it must be obvious and lead to the original article so the reader may finish reading the post on my site) You may also use one photo from my post in your post, but you may not remove the branding from the photo. Please do not use my photo to promote your post on Pinterest, it looks like a stolen pin and will end up getting reported by my VA.

Also....if you drop me a note letting me know you'd like to feature one of my posts in this way, I'd love if you can send me a link when it goes live and I can Tweet, IG, Pin, FB post it etc. (my social media reach for Murano Chicken Farm as of 8/19 is over 18k)

Guest posts: I do not accept guest posts to be featured on this blog but I am available for paid work. If you would like me to write something for your site, email me at Lisa@MuranoChickenFarm.com with details.

I am also available for interviews and podcasts if you'd like to discuss my book.

Profitable poultry

If you came here looking for information about how to make money from your chickens then you're in the right place. While chickens do get a bad rap for being expensive they don't have to be a money pit. In fact, they can start paying your bills with their eggs, feathers and more! If you have a flock of chickens, you are well aware of how expensive they can be. Have you ever considered making them pay their own way? Many years back I decided I needed a "no freeloaders" policy and since then, not only have the chickens paid their way, they've paid quite a few other bills as well! Profitable poultry In June of 2017 I wrote a post on my blog Murano Chicken Farm about making money selling chicks. My article:  How I make $1,000 a month with just 15 chickens  was a huge hit. That blog post had more views in the first weekend then my blog normally gets in a whole month! (make sure you read that post, it has tons of money making info!) I received so many ...
